Graduate Studies in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC
Piano teachers include: Thomas Schumacher, Thomas Mastroanni, Richard Morris, John Quincy Bass, etc.
Voice teachers include: Jeanine Philippe, Beverly Benso, Martha Steiger Ellison, Diane Atherton.
Ms. Blakely has performed solo and chamber music recitals in the USA, Europe, and Africa, including appearances with the Prince Georges Philharmonic Special Concerts, the North Miami Beach Symphony Orchestra, the French Embassy in Washington, DC, etc.
Ms. Blakely has adjudicated Piano Auditions the National Guild of Piano Teachers (Piano Guild) for over 15 years.
Ms. Blakely is manager of the JKM Music Schools for Beltsville and Rockville. She has taught piano and voice for JKM for over 25 years.
