Sixes and Sevens

Sixes and Sevens (6-7 years):  A four-week introduction to the keyboard and rudiments of music in a fun group atmosphere. Students may continue in Yamaha Young Musicians Course in the fall, or transition to private lessons.  Class materials are included.

Four 45-minute group lessons (4-6 students) designed to provide a joyful introduction to the keyboard and the rudiments of music in a fun group atmosphere. This motivating program develops the student’s basic musicianship skills through ear training, improvisation, keyboard performance and music writing.

Materials are provided. No previous experience is necessary.

Students who wish to continue beyond this course may go on to the Yamaha Young Musicians Course or may begin private lessons.

Attendance:
Attending all four classes will allow your child to have the best musical experience.
There are no make-up lessons and no reductions in tuition for missed lessons.
